Yes, but installation details matter. We install with proper underlayment and flashing for snow conditions. Ice dam protection is included in our tile installations.
Individual tiles can be replaced without disturbing surrounding tiles. We stock common tiles for repairs. For discontinued tiles, we can often source used matches or use salvaged tiles from inconspicuous areas.
Clay is lighter, more expensive, and maintains color permanently. Concrete is heavier, more affordable, and may fade slightly over decades. Both last 50+ years.
